Bret A. Ulrich, OD

Dr. Bret A. Ulrich started the practice in February 2000, in its current location at the Liberty Lake Medical Center. Previous to starting the practice, Dr. Ulrich successfully completed a residency at the Wilkes-Barre Veterans Administration Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He then settled in Spokane with his wife, Lori, and daughters Cheryl and Chelsea, and began working in North Spokane at a private clinic. After several years, Amy was born and Dr. Ulrich's special interests are working with patients with neurological diseases, glaucoma and dry eyes. Children's eye and vision services have become an important part of the Liberty Lake practice also. The doctor is an avid fly fisher, works with leather, and enjoys mountain biking. His community involvement includes: Kiwanis Club of Liberty Lake, PTA, Trout Unlimited and his church. He is an active member of the Inland Society of the Optometric Physicians of Washington. The practice is truly community based with most of our patients coming from a short distance from their home or workplace in Liberty Lake.

Daniel N. Garn, OD

Dr. Daniel N. Garn is a native of Sugar City, Idaho and graduated from the Ohio State University, College of Optometry. He joined Liberty Lake EyeCare in 2003. Dr. Garn is a full-scope optometric physician with extensive training to provide treatments for the following: anterior eye diseases, glaucoma, cataracts, diseases and disorders of the retina, ocular emergencies, lazy eye and eye turns, and foreign body removal. Other general vision services he provides as an optometric physician include: family eye care, preventative eye exams, correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism, contact lenses, safety and sport lenses, low vision aid and vision therapy. Dr. Garn is licensed in Washington and Idaho. Dr. Garn is a family man and enjoys spending his time with his wife and five children. Most of his hobbies consist of enjoying the great outdoors; fishing, hiking and camping. He is excited to be here in Washington to enjoy the beautiful Inland Northwest.
